Directly below are Hannah, Baltik (the two bronze pups) and Simon, one of the black littermates. They are on one of their first walks on the farm. They are pictured here going up the stairs to the horse paddocks. Aren't they just the cutest little things? |

As you can see, both Hannah's mother (below) and her father, Sever (above) are black. So we were quite surprised to have two bronze pups in the litter. Ain't Sever a handsome fella? He's got a great personality also! |

Hannah as a yearling - She's lying in the orchard in the tall green grass - we think that the green grass is a nice background for her lovely bronze coat.

Hannah winning 'Best of Breed' Puppy Hannah has been shown as a puppy by both Helen and Cheryl and did quite well. In fact, she frequently won “Best Puppy”. One judge described her as ‘…one of the soundest looking bronze I’ve ever seen!’

Hobbies Hannah's hobbies include swimming and hiking with her family. The photo below shows Hannah racing with Blackie - a neighbor's 10 year old black lab - after a swim in the pond. Hannah was a young girl at the time but Newfs just can't keep up with labs no matter how old. Soon after the 'race', Hannah was asking for 'nap time'.

She enjoys playing with her little 'sister' Emmie. The photo below shows them resting together
She also loves chasing horses (bad girl!), eating horse manure and 'hunting' indigenous porcupines (also bad!).

Hannah’s bronze brother, Baltik (below), went to live with Cliff and Oksana Jackim and is now being shown by Kathy Kalos. Baltik is doing very well in the ring. He is pictured below. He is an enormous and very sweet boy! (He also has his own page on this website.) Baltik is OFA hips good, elbows & heart normal

She has recently begun to do draft work also and has become quite proficient at pulling her custom, handcrafted cart (see below). In fact, she loves draft work so much, that Bob designed sort of a 'sledge' so that she can help take the hay and feed out to the horses in the morning and evening.

Hannah's half brother, Champion Winterwind's Cyrus, is shown below at the Troy Victorian Stroll. He was pulling a cart decorated in Victorian theme. He is resting between rides.
